Yuzhny Ural Hotel - the oldest hotel in Chelyabinsk - was constructed based on the project of Italian architects in the city centre in 1936. Nowadays it's an historical asset, an architectural jewel that stands just off the main thoroughfare of Chelyabinsk - Lenin Avenue, at the crossing of major transport routes, making any district of the city conveniently accessible. A drive to the railway station takes about 10 minutes, and a trip to Balandino Airport will set one back for about half an hour. Yuzhny Ural Hotel consists of two buildings: main building (Building A) and new building (Building B). The new building is more up-to-date and comfortable, and is designed to meet the demands of experienced travellers, offering accommodation in rooms of Standard, Business and Suite categories, each with Wi-Fi Internet coverage. The main building mainly houses Economy rooms.
