The Swan Valley is only 10 minutes' away with many well-known wineries, restaurants, or to indulge yourself you can visit a Chocolate factory or an Ice cream cafe. Public transport is within walking distance; the bus only a 5 minute walk and the train station 15 minutes in Guildford either one will have you in Perth city in 20 minutes.
