You'll be asked to pay the following charges at the property:
- A temporary national VAT (Value Added Tax) suspension is in effect for Uruguay, exempting all citizens from paying the VAT from December 1st, 2020 to April 4th, 2021. International travelers with a tourist visa are already exempt from this tax and will continue to be following the reincorporation of the VAT for domestic travelers. Business travelers from firms in Uruguay may be charged the value-added tax year-round once the suspension is lifted. Citizens not traveling for business will be charged VAT (10%) beginning November 15th, 2021 until the day after Easter.
