The Medvezhy Ugol Hotel is conveniently located in a quiet, ecologically friendly district of Surgut. The hotel was opened on St. Valentine's Day - 14th February, 2004.

The Medvegzhy Ugol restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the hotel. This is a cosy hall tactfully decorated and furnished according to the highest standards of comfort. Except the restaurant there are also bars on the billiards and bowling floors of the hotel. Five tables of Russian billiards and one American pool table were installed in the hotel by the Professional Billiards League. This is the only billiards club in Surgut where professional championships of different levels can take place. The bowling centre on the 4th floor of the Medvezhy Ugol Hotel was mounted and equipped by the world-wide famous company Brunswick Bowling. In the basement of the hotel there are three saunas and a Turkish bath.
