The "Shalyapin Palace Hotel" has opened its doors to guests after reconstruction completed in August 2005 on the threshold of Kazan millenium. The hotel is situated in the central part of the city at the crossing of Bauman and Universitetskaya streets. The building of the hotel complex is the memorial of history and culture of the Tatarstan Republic.
The Shalyapin Palace Hotel offers its guests 123 comfortable rooms.The interior of all rooms is maintained in classical style with the use of modern materials and attributes of national decor. The hotel has single and double Standard rooms, Studio rooms, Executive Suites, Ambassador Suite and Presidential Suite. The Capella restaurant is located on the ground floor of the main building. The restaurant seats up to 100 guests, VIP guests are invited to an additional hall for 25 persons. The restaurant menu offers a variety of dishes of European cuisine with additional chef's suggestions from Russian and Tatar cookery. The wine list is planned specially for the menu and includes not only spirits but also vintage wines from all around the world. Every day buffet breakfast and dinner are served. The Piano lobby bar is open round-the-clock.
