If you're coming by Shinkansen to JR Kanazawa Train Station, it's only 5 minutes from there to our front door. Buses also connect you to Komatsu Airport in around 40 minutes. Local expressways offer excellent road connections to the rest of Japan, perfect for exploring the stunning countryside.
One of the only cities in Japan to feature entire districts of well-preserved Edo-era architecture, Kanazawa is celebrated as a center for traditional Japanese arts. Modern art isn't forgotten though, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is one of the best in the country. No trip to the area would be complete without seeing Kanazawa Castle and don't miss the stunning Kenrokuen Garden next door, often cited as one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan.
