First Hotel Grand is located in central Falun, near shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. If you arrive in Falun by train or bus there is just a five-minute walk from the central station to the hotel. Most of the guestrooms where renovated in 2015 and designed with inspiration from Falun's cultural heritage. The hotel also offers conference facilities, a restaurant, parking and a gym which is free for staying guests.
Nearby attractions are the UNESCO world heritage listed Falun Mine, the Carl Larsson Museum and Dalarna Museum. For those who fancy outdoor life, the Lugnet Ski Center is also easily accessible. In addition, the ski resorts of Romme Alpin and Bjuras Skicenter are located half an hour's drive from central Falun.
Note! The restaurant is closed from 31 December 2019 for renovation. During the renovation period, evening buffet is served Sunday - Friday, 18: 00-21:00
